In the charming setting of Lake Como, a popular and prestigious international destination, Sottovento restaurant will be the ideal background to highlight a special occasion: your wedding day. A beautiful terrace that directly faces the lake and can accommodate up to 120 people will give you a unique experience. From February to October, a heating system and retractable stained-glass windows allow to admire the stunning view on the neighbouring Bellagio and Swiss Alps and enjoy unforgettable sunsets. A lovely and fresh small garden with a breath-taking view on the lake will be the ideal setting for a happy hour and the final buffet, or just as a relaxing area. Our restaurant has an elegant indoor room with 70 seats, where children’s entertainment can be organized. Free parking is available in the space in front of the restaurant; nearby, pay parking is also present. Our restaurant can be reached by boat as well, directly in the forecourt.
CUSTOMIZE
It is possible to customize most of the details, thanks to external professionals that you trust or our partners: florists, pastry chefs, photographers, musicians, DJs, children’s entertainers, taxi boat, accommodations, and vacation rentals. You can choose to use round or rectangular tables, to opt for an imperial table, to position them in a horseshoe or continuous shape. As regards tablecloth it is possible to pick among a wide range of colours. A classic traditional table service can be favoured, rather than a modern informal buffet, or you can opt for a dynamic compromise. Sottovento can also be reached by boat, directly on the forecourt and a replica of the civil wedding can be done on the lake promenade. Sottovento is barrier free and has a disabled toilet with a changing table. The restaurant is accessible to animals.

In proposing our menu, we prefer seasonal and local products, in a variety of flavours that will satisfy your guests. Our international experienced chefs offer valuable alternatives even for people who have allergies or particular eating habits. Along with the courses you will be able to choose between different price ranges. Our Invitation to dinner formula will give you the opportunity to taste the dishes among which you will choose your menu, all for free and in advance, but during set nights and in response to an interest from your side. In case of impossibility you will be able to still organize a customized moment, although a minor variety of tastes will be available.
